Solar Panel Array Wiring Configuration Examples

When wiring multiple solar panels, you must create a voltage and current that satisfies your solar charge controller circuit. 

Solar charge controllers are rated in:
  • Battery Bank Nominal
  • Max PV Input Voltage
  • Max PV Input Wattage

If you have these three variables, you can wire up whatever solar panel you have available to your system. Solar panels can range in output rating, so you need to calculate what is best for your system.
