Battery Chargers

If you wish to charge your battery bank with shore power (the grid), you will need a dedicated battery charger. Some RV's and conversion vans will have this built into the converter box. If you do not have one, you will need to install one. If you are using AGM sealed batteries or a drop-in replacement battery such as the Battle Born, you will need to ensure that the charger you use will not charge higher than 14.4-14.6 volts. Below are chargers that you can use with both AGM sealed batteries AND LiFePO4 (battleborns etc)

Want to Charge Your Battery Bank with a Generator?
Check out the Chargeverter!

Picture
If you connect a generator to a all-in-one or inverter charger, it can destroy it! It is not designed to work with the dirt ac output generator by most generators.

Instead, use a chargverter to charge up your battery bank during the winter. You can also use this charger with the grid to charge with up to 100A!

My favorite12V 50A Battery Charger

Picture
Not long ago I was obssesed with 12V AIMs chargers. But in recent times, multiple batches have had issues and needed to be sent back. So many distributors had issues that a lot of people stopped selling them. So we needed an alternative!

Check out Victron's 50A 12V Charger. This is the best model you can buy and does everything.

High Efficiency, Waterproof 12/24/36/48V EG4 Charger

Picture
These are durable, long lasting chargers available in various output voltages and charge rates. You can also adjust the output current.

Designed for LiFePO4. If the charger above is out of stock, this is the next best option. AIMs does not make a 48V charger, so this is a great option if you are trying to charge a 48V pack.

Programmable and reliable
Victron Energy 12/24V Battery Charger

Picture
Victron is fantastic. Highest quality around, and not that expensive considering the output. You can program this charger to do whatever you please. Lower output than the models above, but a great charger.
